OneCause is Hiring a People & Culture Coordinator Near Carmel, IN

About the Role:

OneCause is committed to helping cause-driven organizations amplify their message and raise more funds with easy-to-use fundraising solutions. First to market as BidPal in 2007 with revolutionary mobile bidding, our solutions now power online giving, event management, mobile bidding, and peer-to-peer fundraising for nonprofit organizations of all sizes.

Our People and Culture Coordinator will report to our Director of People Experience, supporting our OneCause people experience through numerous initiatives such as our internal communications and culture committee; while also supporting external candidate experience in a partnership with recruiting initiatives.


Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal people and culture communications, such as our newsletter and culture committee initiatives.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures and benefits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and policies.
  • Welcome our new team members by facilitating new hire orientation, onboarding, and account setup.
  • Partner with our candidate experience manager on recruiting initiatives such as sourcing, resume review, phone screens, and scheduling.
  • Enhance awareness of OneCause by coordinating and representing the company at local, Indianapolis, networking events and career fairs.
  • Serve as a backup to our OneCause Office Coordinator at our two Carmel, IN offices.
  • Support various projects and programs centered around people and culture at OneCause.

What you already know and skills you bring:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Business, Human Resource Administration, Communications or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR operations.
  • Energetic professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, able to execute tasks and strategies with minimal supervision.
  • Curious mind to explore and problem solve.
  • Experience with HRIS and /or applicant tracking systems.
